With more than 25 years of experience, Brandon Meisner’s experience and leadership have been focused on developing and managing company-wide operational real estate projects and initiatives in various industries including defense/aerospace, media and entertainment, start-ups and healthcare.
Currently, Meisner is the Head of the Facilities Management & Real Estate department for the international transportation company, Flix. In this role, as in his previous roles at Northwood and PBS, he is responsible for a broad range of operational areas across the organization including real estate, building operations, workplace design, facilities management, travel management, and corporate and site security. Growing the offices worldwide and establishing corporate standards is his constant focus.
Earlier in his career, Meisner worked for two Fortune 500 companies. He began his career as a Senior Facilities Engineer at Boeing, working at a helicopter manufacturing site before moving onto a corporate location for more than 13 years. Then, while growing his career at Northrop Grumman in Virginia, he oversaw the corporate headquarters building as Site Manager for over five years. In 2017, Meisner became the Senior Director of Facilities for the television network, PBS. Then in 2020, Meisner relocated to Canada to extend his career in the healthcare industry. After three years of on-site management during Covid, he moved in Munich, Germany in 2023 where he continues to work in real estate management.
The ongoing theme of Meisner’s professional life is a relentless drive to create an optimal work experience for others to be successful, and he has proven to drive organizational development enhancements, and lead efforts to improve and strengthen organizational culture that drives productivity and profitability. He has proven to lead and manage organizational change to accomplish ambitious objectives while enhancing departmental performance and efficiency, while being an advocate for diversity that contributes to building productive relationships and credibility across departments.
Meisner has a CFM (Certified Facility Manager) designation and is long-standing member of IFMA (International Facilities Management Association). He has recently published articles on the topics of Change Fatigue, Customer Service, and Generational Issues within the workforce.
Meisner earned a Master of Science in Design at Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design at Columbia College in Chicago. He speaks English and German and has significant experience living and working abroad. He currently resides in Munich, Germany.
